Sarah Esocoff is an audio documentarian and multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She is the creator, host, and producer of Sounds Gay, an IDA Documentary Award-nominated podcast about queer music culture from Stitcher.
Currently, Sarah is a podcast producer at TransLash Media, where she produces TransLash Podcast with Imara Jones.
Previously, she was a Senior Podcast Producer at SiriusXM, where she developed and produced a range of documentary and interview podcasts. She studied long-form narrative podcasting at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and is fluent in every stage of the production process. She also loves helping people hone their projects as a story editor or consultant.
In addition to her audio work, Sarah is a painter, writer, and musician.
